Wax strips — how to use

Ready-to-use wax strips are the fastest at-home hair removal: no heating needed — just warm between your palms, press on in the direction of hair growth, then pull off against the growth. AGISS strips come in face and body versions.

Choose by skin type: normal, sensitive or all skin types. The sensitive-skin, azulene variants soothe the skin and reduce redness after waxing.

Tip: before waxing the skin should be clean, dry and oil-free, and the hair at least 2–3 mm long. Afterwards moisturise, and avoid sun and rubbing for 24 hours.

Wax strips FAQ

How long does hair need to be for wax strips?

Wax strips work best when the hair is at least 2–3 mm long, so the wax can grip the strands. If it’s too short, let it grow a little.

Does waxing with strips hurt?

The pull is noticeable, but a quick, confident motion and the sensitive-skin azulene variant help a lot. After the first sessions the hair grows back thinner and sparser, so it gets easier.

How do I remove wax residue from the skin?

Wax-remover oil or a drop of baby oil easily dissolves any wax left on the skin — water won’t remove it.
