Razor — fast, but doesn’t last

The razor is painless and done in seconds, but only cuts at the surface: hair is prickly again in 1–3 days. Razor burn and ingrown hairs are common.

Epilator — long-lasting, but a chore

An epilator pulls hair out from the root, so results last 2–3 weeks. In return it’s slow, tiring over large areas, and for many more painful than wax.

Waxing — the best compromise

Wax removes hair from a large area, from the root, at once — faster than an epilator, with a velvety result that lasts 3–4 weeks. Over time regrowth becomes sparser and finer.
